Highly topical workshops for accountants and finance professionals visiting Accounting Live
MyFirmsApp, the global number one provider of bespoke Apps for accountants and bookkeepers, announced today a series of highly topical ‘How your Firms can Grow and Prosper’ CPD workshops at the upcoming Accounting Live event in Glasgow. The event takes place over two days on November 21st and November 22nd, 2018 at the SEC Glasgow.
Following on from last year’s event, which attracted thousands of Scotland’s ambitious accountants and several hundred from south of the border too, the MyFirmsApp workshops with Dan Richards, Global Business Development, Mike Page, Head of Product Management and Customer Experience and Tony Margaritelli, Chairman, ICPA are set to be extremely popular. Accounting Live in 2017 was by far Scotland’s largest ever event of its kind and this year, attendance figures are expected to be even higher. Early booking for the CPD accredited conference programme with keynote speakers and workshops is recommended.
The MyFirmsApp team will be demonstrating a host of powerful new features that have been introduced into the App in recent months including automated client engagement and behaviour led messaging to intelligently detect user behaviour, a redesigned mileage tracker to make it easier for clients to log business mileage and send details of trips to their accountants and two new calculators.
Mike Page, Head of Product Management, MyFirmsApp, said: “As a company, we have very strong links with Scottish accountants and have worked closely with ICAS and other professional bodies to put accountants at the heart of their clients’ mobile world. With the introduction of Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT fast approaching, we would like to invite visitors to come along to the MyFirmsApp stand and talk them through how an App can make it easier for both the accountant and the client to navigate the constantly changing technological and legislative landscape.”
MyFirmsApp is hosting an exclusive client workshop at Accounting Live on the 22nd November and it runs from 3.15pm to 4pm. The aim of the session is for existing clients to take away some simple hacks and techniques to get even more out of the App and to see what’s planned for 2019.
Workshops running across both days:
